About the Role
Are you passionate about precision, quality, and making a tangible impact on construction and infrastructure projects? Heidelberg Materials Technical UK is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to support our commitment to excellence across our Concrete, Asphalt, and Quarry product lines.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for sampling, field testing, and specimen preparation in line with British and European standards. You'll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, testing, and specimen preparation for Concrete, Asphalt, and Aggregates.

• Conduct preliminary investigations at plants and customer sites.

• Identify and report product quality issues, raising NCRs and Near Hits where necessary.

• Review water demands, site practices, and delivery methods to ensure consistency.

• Provide feedback to technical and operations teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Uphold and promote a culture of safety and quality across all activities.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a technical or laboratory setting (construction materials preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and reporting.

• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

• A proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance.

• Full UK driving licence (essential for specimen transportation).
