Seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with data governance and/or modelling expertise to support the Tourism Data Marketplace programme. You'll translate strategy into practical frameworks, work across internal and external stakeholders, and drive effective data governance and delivery.

Role

• The Business Analayst will develop the data-sharing rulebook, including agreements, tourism data taxonomy, permitted use and liability terms.
• Design the governance model, including participation criteria, rule changes and dispute resolution.
• Define data structure and metadata standards to enable consistency, interoperability and collaboration.
• Establish trust and accreditation requirements for data suppliers and consumers.
• Define security, data protection and legal compliance standards for exchange participants.
• Produce clear business analysis outputs and translate complex data governance concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Business Analyst will have experience working on a data marketplace, data exchange or data trust initiative, ideally involving multiple external organisations.
• Strong data governance expertise, including ownership, stewardship, access, quality and governance frameworks.
• Data modelling, taxonomy and metadata/schema expertise to support harmonisation and interoperability.
• Experience with commercial/licensing frameworks and data-sharing agreements, working alongside legal teams.
• Senior Business Analyst experience within data-intensive, platform or marketplace programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including facilitating workshops with technical, non-technical and external stakeholders.
