This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and takes pride in delivering five-star service.
What's on offer:
- Working Hours: Shifts typically between 4–10 hours, depending on event schedules
- Days: Primarily evenings and weekends, with weekday shifts available for conferences and functions
- Flexibility: Last-minute availability may be required for urgent cover needs
- Hourly Pay: £14.00–£16 per hour (depending on experience and client)
- Weekly Pay (every Friday)
- Temp assignments with potential for long-term or permanent opportunities
- Start date: Early 2026
- Site briefings provided
Key responsibilities:
- Provide professional food and beverage service at banquets, receptions, and formal dinners
- Greet and serve guests with warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail

- Assist with plating, silver service, wine service, and canapé trays as required
- Work seamlessly with kitchen and events teams to deliver smooth service
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest care at all times
- Uphold luxury service standards across every interaction
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience as banqueting staff, event waiter/waitress, hospitality assistant, or food & beverage server (luxury hotels, events, or fine dining preferred)
- Is confident, professional, and well-presented with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude
- Thrives in a busy, guest-facing environment and enjoys working as part of a team
- Is comfortable carrying trays, serving multiple courses, and working long shifts when required
- Can adapt quickly to new venues, teams, and client expectations
- Is flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and late finishes
