Housekeeper to work part-time, Job ID J1E370
This lovely family based in Brixton Hill, London, is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to keep their home clean and tidy. The role involves all general housekeeping duties, with priorities including household upkeep, laundry, and meal preparation. The family is flexible with days and working hours and happy to discuss arrangements with candidates. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: 2 to 3 days per week (flexible for the right candidate) Tuesday and Thursday are preferable. Between working hours of 09:00-17:00
Duties include:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Maintaining and deep cleaning the kitchen area
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and changing linens as required
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals
- Collecting groceries from shops and organising supplies
