A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its busy school office. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished administrator with strong leadership skills who enjoys managing a professional office while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a successful school.
Working alongside the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you will oversee the administration team, manage office systems and ensure that high-quality administrative support is provided across the school. You will play a key role in maintaining excellent communication with parents, staff and external agencies while ensuring the office operates efficiently at all times.

Office Team
The Office Team is responsible for delivering an efficient, professional and welcoming administrative service that supports every aspect of school life.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the daily operation of the school office.
Supervising and supporting office staff.
Overseeing admissions administration.
Managing pupil records and confidential documentation.
Coordinating communication with parents and external agencies.
Managing office budgets and ordering supplies.
Supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
Maintaining the school's management information system.
Preparing reports and school correspondence.
Coordinating staff diaries and meeting schedules.
Supporting recruitment administration.
Ensuring GDPR compliance.
Managing reception and visitor procedures.
Reviewing and improving office systems.
Supporting whole-school events and administration.
Requirements
Previous office management experience.
Experience working within a school is desirable.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems.
Excellent communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Professional and approachable manner.
Commitment to safeguarding.
