Data, Digital and Technology Graduate Programme - London

About the programme

The Data, Digital and Technology (DDAT) Graduate Programme at the FCA is designed to prepare you for a career in data-driven regulation. Over two years, you’ll rotate through teams specialising in data, digital, technology, and innovation, gaining hands-on experience that supports smarter, more agile regulation.

You’ll develop core skills in judgement, engagement, self-management, and delivery. Your work could involve analysing data, building dashboards, or applying machine learning to support decision-making. There are also opportunities to contribute to strategic planning, shape technology roadmaps, and support design governance.

Your first two rotations will be mapped out before you join, ensuring a strong foundation across financial services. The final rotation will be tailored to your career interests and the FCA’s strategic needs. If you would like to specialise in Data Science and have a relevant degree background, please apply for the Data Science programme.

By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready for roles across the FCA’s Data, Digital and Technology profession, including divisions such as Enforcement, Market Oversight, Data, Technology, and Innovation.

Learning & Development

Our two-year programme is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Centred on the FCA’s values of self-sufficiency, resilience, ambition, engagement, and integrity, you’ll be supported in developing personal effectiveness, advancing professional capabilities, and making a meaningful impact.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Formal learning aligned to your development goals
  • Bespoke induction and training
  • Networking opportunities
  • Social events with your graduate cohort
  • Opportunities to hear from senior speakers across the business
