As Engineering Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless operation of our hotel’s mechanical and technical systems, maintaining the safety, efficiency, and luxury standards expected at Rosewood. You will lead by example, supervising daily engineering activities, coordinating preventive maintenance, and guiding a team of skilled engineers to deliver an immaculate guest and colleague environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering team, ensuring all work is performed to Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA standards.

• Monitor and maintain all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety equipment.

• Implement and track preventive maintenance schedules, minimising disruption to guests and operations.

• Supervise and train team members, promoting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and compliance checks.

About You

• Previous supervisory or senior-level engineering experience within a luxury hotel or similar environment.

• Strong technical knowledge across multiple building systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise effectively.

• A passion for delivering exceptional service and a commitment to excellence.
