We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and committed Girls' PE Teacher to join the thriving Physical Education faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Wandsworth .
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective PE specialist with a passion for driving female participation and success in sport and physical activity. The TLR reflects an essential responsibility within the department, such as Key Stage 3 Girls' Sports Coordinator or Female Participation and Well-being Lead . This leadership element is crucial to upholding the high standards of teaching and learning in PE and expanding the extra-curricular offerings for female students.

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
- A proven track record as an excellent PE Teacher with a focus on teaching and coaching female students across a range of sports.
- Strong subject knowledge across both practical and theoretical PE (GCSE/A-Level/BTEC).
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and performance.
- The experience or ambition to take on a key area of responsibility within the department.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently £40,317 - £62,496 for 2025/2026).
- A Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) payment , which in a role of this responsibility typically ranges from £3,527 to £8,611 (likely a TLR 2 dependent on scale). The specific amount will be confirmed based on the final responsibility offered.
