As Sous Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, helping to produce up to 1,000 meals per shift . You’ll be organised, calm under pressure, and ready to inspire a team of six to deliver high-quality food every day.

Your day-to-day:

• Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away
• Manage a team of 6, ensuring smooth daily service
• Prepare meals to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines
• Monitor food production and minimise waste
• Place orders, manage stock, and ensure FIFO storage
• Maintain high hygiene standards through regular deep cleans
• Support training and development of your team.

What we’re looking for:

• You must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years
• Legal right to work in the UK and able to pass security vetting and DBS checks
• A relevant culinary qualification and 2+ years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
• A trade test will be part of the interview process
