Service Delivery Manager (Cyber Security) (IT)

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position. Candidate profile: In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of cyber security services across UK Government and commercial clients, ensuring they meet contractual, performance and security requirements. You?ll be a trusted service management contact, leading governance, service reviews and performance reporting while coordinating specialists across security operations and related cyber services. You?ll have the autonomy to identify improvements, strengthen operational resilience and develop innovative ways of enhancing service quality. Working within a supportive, collaborative environment, you?ll bring together technical, commercial and client teams to resolve challenges, successfully transition services and identify opportunities for future growth.
- Own & Deliver: Take accountability for the end-to-end performance of assigned cyber security services.
- Govern & Assure: Ensure contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs and security requirements are achieved.
- Engage & Influence: Build trusted relationships with Government and commercial stakeholders and lead service reviews and governance forums.
- Coordinate & Integrate: Bring together SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response and related cyber capabilities.
- Resolve & Protect: Lead major incidents, escalations, risks and service issues through to effective resolution.
- Improve & Innovate: Drive continual service improvement, operational resilience and service quality.
- Transition & Embed: Support the onboarding and transition of new and changed services into operation.
- Document & Assure: Maintain effective service documentation, governance and assurance.
- Collaborate & Grow: Work with account and commercial teams on performance, resourcing and service growth opportunities.
- Strong experience in IT service delivery, service management or managed services.
- Demonstrable experience working with UK Government, Defence, National Security, CNI, regulated or commercial clients.
- Good knowledge of cyber security operations and managed security services.
- Proven ability to manage SLAs, KPIs, major incidents, risks and continual service improvement.
- Strong capability in stakeholder management, communication, governance and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices; ITIL 4 experience or certification is advantageous.
- Understanding of SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, cyber incident response and Managed Detection and Response is desirable.
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NCSC guidance and Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM or Security+ would be advantageous.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, high-pressure and security-sensitive environments.
- Security clearance: You will need to hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance. Some assignments may have additional nationality, residency or vetting requirements.
