A successful primary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a Site Manager to join the team from September 2026.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced premises professional who enjoys taking responsibility for a busy school site. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll ensure the school remains safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard throughout the year.

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises, ensuring the buildings and grounds are well maintained and fully compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the school site

  • Carrying out planned maintenance and minor repairs

  • Leading and supporting the premises team where required

  • Coordinating contractors and monitoring completed works

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Opening and securing the school site

  • Monitoring site security and reporting maintenance issues

  • Supporting school events and lettings when needed

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Site Manager, Premises Manager, Senior Caretaker, Facilities Manager, or Estates Supervisor.

The school is looking for someone who is organised, practical, and confident managing a varied workload. A good understanding of health and safety procedures and experience working with contractors is essential.

As part of the school's safer recruitment procedures, references from your current (or most recent) employer and a previous employer will be required before an interview can be arranged.

Salary & Benefits

  • £36,000–£42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
