Volunteer HR & Employment Adviser
Location: Brent Cross Town / Flexible
Eligibility: Barnet residents only
Organisation: Our Yard
Our Yard is looking for an experienced Volunteer HR & Employment Adviser to provide guidance and support on people-related policies, procedures and best practice.
This role would suit an HR professional or experienced employment specialist looking to contribute their expertise to a community-focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on employment contracts, HR policies and procedures
Support compliance with employment legislation and best practice
Review and update HR documentation as required
Provide guidance on people management processes
Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and procedures
Support the organisation in maintaining effective and compliant practices
What We're Looking For
Experience in HR, employment law or people management
Knowledge of current HR practices and employment legislation
Strong communication and advisory skills
Professional and confidential approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
