Job Description:
Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in the OT Duty team.
Role is to contact and assess residents who are waiting for an triage, OT assessment or equipment to make their property accessible.
You will work with families of children, older people and adults with a disability or long term health condition to support their independence through the provision of equipment and adaptations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication, be confident with IT processes and applications and have excellent customer care skills.
This is a standard OT Assistant role (visits, assessments), However, the successful candidate will be expected to pick up/collecting small equipment (e.g. bath boards, toilet frames, commodes) from equipment store local to the office, deliver, install the items and demonstrate safe use of the items.

Car driver would be preferable. However, not essential as practitioners will be able to submit expense claims for taxis to deliver.
