Head of Music
Job Title: Head of Music (Secondary) Location: Hillingdon, London, UK Salary: £44,128 – £50,474 (M4 – M6) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: 01 September 2026 Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience. About the Role Teach Now is seeking an ambitious and creative Head of Music to lead a thriving department in a well-regarded secondary school in Hillingdon, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Music teacher ready to step into leadership or an experienced Head of Department looking for a fresh challenge. You will take full ownership of the Music provision across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, driving high standards in teaching and learning while developing a rich and inspiring curriculum. The role offers the chance to expand extracurricular opportunities, including performances, concerts, and enrichment programmes, helping to build a strong culture of creativity and musical excellence across the school.
