M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias) Essex - Barking - Dagenham £53,400 + £740 per annum for AP/LV duties Brief M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias)needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Barking, Essex who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias) that takes pride in their work. The successful candidate will be overseeing the delivery of Electrical and building services on site. You will be responsible for supervising the mechanical, electrical and building trades staff and specialist contractors. The successful candidate would need to have these qualifications - i.e. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical principle and hold a ECS/JIB Gold Crad and have a keen interest in supervising engineers. If you have lead experience in a facilities management setting that would be a plus! Benefits Salary: £53,400 per annum £740 per month AP/LV duties upon completion 24 days annual leave (+ public holidays) Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salary Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers Gym membership discounts Cycle to work scheme Holiday purchase scheme 2 corporate social responsibility days per year Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmes Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme Access to our growing employee networks 24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing app What the role entails: Some of the main duties of a M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias) will include: Supervise mechanical, electrical and building trades staff and specialist contractors Plan, allocate and monitor work to ensure quality, cost and service targets are achieved Liaise with clients, manage materials and services, and maintain accurate work records Support emergency responses, staff development, compliance and safe working practices Undertake additional duties as directed by Line Manager What experience you need to be the successful M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias): Experienced in supervising mechanical, electrical and building services teams Able to plan, allocate and monitor work delivered by staff and contractors Confident managing performance, quality, costs, records and customer expectations Able to use or learn CAFM systems and maintain accurate documentation Customer focused with good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills Willing to work with tools, support staff development and complete relevant training Able to qualify as an Authorised Person or Competent Person where required Willing to participate in the emergency on call rota and occasional overtimeThis role may require employment screening and background checks in line with client, contractual and site requirements.
