Retail Store Supervisor - London

Glassworks is looking for a positive, energetic, self-starting Supervisor with a demonstrable track record of exceeding retail KPIs to join the London store as a Supervisor to help lead a vibrant team of full and part-time sales assistants.

This role is perfect for a self-start with great natural sales ability who is driven to succeed in retail management who enjoys an environment where no two days are the same. Overall, this is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious person to play a core role in driving a growing fashion company to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Retail Store Manager with managing the team, store operations (including visual merchandising) and store environment to achieve sales, service, organisation, customer satisfaction and profitability goals and maintain operational standards;
  • Working to develop team members by communicating and delivering positive recognition as well as performance management and corrective action as needed;
  • Supporting the Retail Store Manager with new staff training/onboarding processes;
  • Supporting the stock delivery, stock transfer and stock room maintenance processes as needed;
  • Supporting the Retail Store Manager with supplies orders, banking, and other administrative functions; and,
  • Supporting the Retail Store Manager and Head Office with in store marketing activity and one-off projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' retail sales experience
  • Demonstrable experience of comfortably managing a range of personalities and situations with employees and customers alike.
  • An honest, hard-working self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, natural leadership skills and a track record of hitting retail KPIs
  • IT skills – you will be comfortable using ad learning new technologies, including Excel, an electric POS system, barcoding software, etc.
