Audit and Accounts Senior North West London £45,000 - £60,000

An established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its growing audit team. This role offers exposure to a varied client base including UK and international businesses, with opportunities to work on complex assignments while playing a key role in mentoring junior staff. You'll work closely with senior leadership in a collaborative environment that genuinely supports progression and professional development.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion.
• Work closely with partners and managers on larger and more complex engagements.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP.
• Supervise, review, and support junior team members on audit assignments.
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout engagements.
• Ensure assignments are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify risks and develop effective audit strategies.
• Monitor chargeability and performance against budgets.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of team members through coaching and feedback.

Personal Requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong audit background working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience supervising staff and reviewing work.
• Exposure to consolidated accounts is advantageous.
• IFRS knowledge beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
