Role summary - Nursery Teacher
This Nursery Teacher will: design and manage continuous provision as the Nursery Teacher; plan adult-led focus sessions for language, number and physical development as the Nursery Teacher; foster secure attachments and positive routines as the Nursery Teacher; engage and communicate with families about key milestones as the Nursery Teacher. The Nursery Teacher will be expected to prepare resources prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Nursery Teacher.
Nursery Teacher - candidate essentials
• Qualified with QTS/EYTS or equivalent and experience in Nursery provision as the Nursery Teacher.
• Excellent understanding of play-based pedagogy and the Early Years Foundation Stage as the Nursery Teacher.
• Strong communication skills to build effective home-school partnerships as the Nursery Teacher.
• Availability for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start in post from January 2026 as the Nursery Teacher.
