Full-Time Professional Career Nanny – Islington

A professional family in Islington are seeking an experienced and qualified career nanny to care for their two children (3 years and 4 months). The family are looking for a confident, organised and development-focused nanny who is committed to their profession and enjoys working within a busy, loving household.

Duties & Responsibilities
The role will include all nursery duties, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, and supporting both children’s developmental milestones. Key expectations include:
Confident care of both an infant and a toddler with differing needs
Previous experience in weaning and introducing solid foods
Experience with potty training and encouraging independent skills
Planning engaging learning opportunities and outings
Supporting sleep routines and managing daily schedules
Children’s laundry, bedroom/tidy play space upkeep, and meal preparation
Liaising with parents on developmental progress
Being proactive and organised within the home environment
Experience & Qualifications

The ideal nanny will:
Have 6–8+ years of professional nanny experience
Hold relevant childcare qualifications
Have strong experience with babies and toddlers
Have previously cared for multiple children at similar ages
Be confident in their developmental knowledge and decision-making
Be discreet, professional and capable of adapting to family life
Have previously supported emotional, behavioural, and social development
Be open to learning about the family’s routines and parenting approach
The family may try for another baby within the next 12–18 months, so prior experience with newborns and sibling dynamics would be highly beneficial.

Travel & Additional Details
The family would like their nanny to travel with them occasionally for periods of 1–2 weeks at a time, primarily within Europe and the United States. A driver would be beneficial but not essential.
