Client Executive – Upstream / Offshore Energy
Location: London | Competitive Salary + Benefits | No Broking Duties
A respected and growing independent Lloyd’s broking house is looking to appoint a Client Executive to join their high-performing Energy & Natural Resources division, focusing on Upstream / Offshore Energy insurance programmes.
This is a client-facing technical role , ideally suited to someone with strong knowledge of the sector, who enjoys deep client engagement and managing complex multinational accounts.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of clients ranging from major global energy companies to specialist contractors .
- Lead on all client servicing matters including programme design, placement support, renewals, and technical documentation.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients—predominantly in non-US territories .
- Collaborate closely with an experienced internal broking and placement team— no broking responsibilities in this role.
- Represent the business in meetings, presentations, and renewals both in the UK and occasionally internationally.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in Upstream / Offshore Energy insurance —either in a technical client service, underwriting, or account executive capacity.
- A strong understanding of energy risks and insurance programme structures .
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, detail-focused mindset.
- Comfortable liaising at senior level with risk managers, CFOs, and operational teams.
- Experience working with international clients is a plus.
