Kraken Utilities
Our tech platform Kraken is already licensed to support 55 million customer accounts globally and we aim to serve 100 million by 2027. Kraken is the most AI-driven innovative forward-thinking platform for energy management. From optimising resources to delivering cost-effective exceptional customer experiences through advanced Customer Information Systems (CIS) billing meter data management CRM and AI-driven communications.
Were now charging the Kraken platform to other utility industries (Water and Broadband) and have created a new team called - Kraken Utilities. Over the last 3 years we have built this team from scratch to re-architect design and develop our Kraken software platform to solve complex industry wide problems within the water and broadband sectors (such as customer experience & water leak detection).
The Kraken Utilities team is in a very exciting growth phase and has already signed six key clients: Severn Trent Leep Portsmouth Water Essential Energy TalkTalk and Cuckoo. We are currently 120 people strong globally.
We are looking for a brilliant Client Delivery Lead in our Kraken Utilities team to build Industry-leading product experiences for our clients. We are looking for a hands-on Client Delivery Lead who can work as an individual contributor that can help build our capability across our business with Kraken and other 3rd parties as we continue to grow. Our Delivery Leads are here to solve complex problems with great products.
The Client Delivery Lead has direct responsibility for creating managing and prioritising the product delivery and roadmap to ensure clarity and alignment with both Kraken and client business. They need to always work in partnership with the technology and product teams at Kraken as well as the client. The Delivery Lead has to really understand how Kraken works identify problems and refine solutions in the best way to leverage existing and new capability. They will bring technology people and processes together to innovate improvements for our clients.
They will deal with complexity across multiple customer journeys with a variety of customer types and end users. This person will play a critical role in bringing all the right people together to deliver the roadmap.
What youll do:
- Work closely with the product operation and Kraken Technologies Teams to define the product vision and strategy
- Identify new ideas and technology to improve the product
- Define the MVP and test & learn approach for the product capability
- Support the business with issue resolution for the product
- Support the engineering teams to deliver product features
- Managing the relationship with client counterparts being the first point of contact for tech development and issue resolution.
- Triaging incoming requests and communicating client priorities to the right domains in the development team.
- Ensure we are constantly reviewing and adapting to customer and business needs
What youll have:
- Degree qualified equivalent with strong client delivery and/or product ownership experience
- Experience working within the UK energy/water/Telecom industry
- Strong agile delivery experience
- Experience of product and customer journeys
- Solid understanding of technology and associated trends
- Excellent communications collaboration and presentation skills
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional ways of thinking
- Experience of working with significant complex delivery pipelines for clients
- Patience - our clients are undergoing huge transformations that take time and require our understanding
