Location: London Sector: Mixed Commercial & Public Sector
Salary - £45,000 to £65,000 p/a DOE with the full range of benefits and bonus structure
We're seeking a Chartered Commercial Building Surveyor to join a dynamic London office, delivering a full spectrum of building surveying services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning commercial, healthcare, education, and public sector buildings while developing your career alongside experienced surveyors.
What your day will consist of:
- Leading and managing your own commissions, including schedules of dilapidations, condition surveys, defect analysis and pre-acquisition surveys.
- Supporting party wall matters and general neighbourly commissions, including notices, negotiations and schedules of condition.
- Preparing specifications and tender documents, assessing tenders and advising clients on costs and project delivery.
- Acting as contract administrator across various projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Learning from senior surveyors to understand client expectations, providing technical and commercial guidance throughout each project.
What you'll need for the job role:
- Degree in Building Surveying.
- MRICS Chartered status or willingness to achieve chartered status.
- Experience in surveys, dilapidations, project management, repairs, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS is beneficial.
- Organised, proactive, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Full driving license.
