Job Title: English Teacher – Secondary School Location: Redbridge, East London Contract: Full-time, Long-term Start Date: ASAP / September start availableSecondary English Teacher – Redbridge Protocol Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Redbridge that is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English Teacher to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality English education and supporting students to achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons, supporting students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills. The role will involve planning lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.Key responsibilities include: Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 Planning, preparing, and delivering effective lessons in line with the national curriculum Monitoring and assessing student progress to support attainment and development Maintaining strong classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment Supporting pupils as they prepare for GCSE examinations The Ideal Candidate The school is looking for a teacher who demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress.Applicants should: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting Demonstrate effective classroom management and communication skills Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing Why Work with Protocol Education?
