Teaching Assistant
Horizon Teachers are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across KS1-KS2. You'll help children with ASC and Complex needs thrive in the classroom and beyond.

- Provide general classroom support across KS1 and KS2, assisting with pupil engagement to enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to deliver targeted intervention.
- Support the class teacher in planning, preparation, and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and safe environment.
- Previous experience in a school or SEN setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- A solid understanding of SEND conditions and how they affect learning and behaviour.
- Confidence in supporting pupils with communication difficulties and/or physical needs .
- A collaborative and empathetic approach , with excellent communication skills.
- Competitive pay: £550 per week, depending on experience.
