SEN Teacher

Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work within a Specialist School to support students with special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Global Learning Delay.
Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Uxbridge
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £160 – £260 per day – D.O.E
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualised educational programs tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement strategies to support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of strategies and interventions for Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Global Learning Delay and SEMH.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being.
