As a VP Engineer in the Markets CRM Platform team, you will lead a global group of engineers to design and deliver advanced technology solutions. You will architect and support both front-end and back-end services, ensuring our platforms remain secure, scalable, and innovative. You will foster a collaborative culture, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems. Your leadership will empower the Markets business and support our commitment to technology-driven success. Job Responsibilities: Lead the development and support of front-end and back-end services for the Markets CRM platform Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain robust algorithms Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to drive continuous improvement Identify and address hidden problems and patterns in data and systems Drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture Contribute to engineering communities of practice and technology events Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or formal training/certification in software engineering concepts Hands-on experience as a developer and technical leader in large corporate environments Expertise in Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming, multi-threading, messaging technologies, and computer networks Experience building high-performance, latency-sensitive Java applications Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code using modern programming and database querying languages Knowledge of cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies Experience maintaining and troubleshooting software in Linux environments, with familiarity in containers and cloud architectures/services Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in global teams Commitment to continuous learning and improvement Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js Exposure to cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with Python and front-end development Practical experience with FIX messaging protocol and QuickFIX/J Familiarity with Hazelcast or other distributed computing platforms Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures Why Join Us?
