Food Service Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team in GLASGOW, United Kingdom. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing efficient and friendly service.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and kitchen areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
- Attention to detail in food presentation and guest service
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Mon - Fri work week, Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is desirable.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification is a plus (training available).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
- Attention to detail with a focus on high standards of presentation and service.
- Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and food safety legislation desirible but not essential as training will be given. 20 Days holiday plus bank holidays PRO RATA
