About us:

We're a family run, independent Timber Merchant, offering every range applicable to the building trade. We also have specialist departments in Electrical Supplies, Plumbing Supplies and Bathroom sales. We separate their departments and have them run by men and women who have a comprehensive background in their field, so that we're not just a timber merchant selling a bit of plumbing, for instance, but plumbers merchant in its own right.

About the role:

An opportunity is available for a Crane Driver to join the team, delivering to customers within the M25 area and ensuring they receive their orders in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Working with the depot team to ensure all orders loaded for delivery are correct.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries within the local area within specified timeframes on a daily basis.
• Ensuring accurate recording of paperwork.
• Providing the highest quality of service to customers at all times.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is a good team player and can work effectively and independently under pressure. The ideal candidate will have:

• A UK-issued Category C driving licence.
• A Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
• Their own tacho smartcard for commercial driving.
• Experience in multi-drop driving.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• At least one year of experience as a crane driver and one year of experience driving an HD Goods Vehicle.
• Driver CPC certification.
• Authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.

Additional Information:
