If you answered yes to the above, then this SEN Teacher role is for you! The Role - SEN Teacher I am recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH School in Newham. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many pupils may also have additional needs including ASD, ADHD and behavioural difficulties. You will be working with smaller class sizes and will have additional support within the classroom. You will need to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, work towards pupils' EHCP targets and support pupils who may have struggled within mainstream education. The successful SEN Teacher will need to be confident managing challenging behaviour, building strong relationships with pupils and using positive behaviour strategies to help pupils remain engaged with their education.
