Our client is a London-based hedge fund and proprietary trading firm. This is a new team comprised of seasoned traders and developers with long tenure in the business. This team is built around a new innovative tech first financial services offering that is gaining momentum with big banks being onboarded.

They’re building a greenfield Order Management and Settlement platform to support a new, innovative trading product. The role focuses on developing and scaling this system, with deep exposure to trading workflows and real-time data flows. The firm’s technology-driven, automation-first approach minimizes operational overhead, allowing engineers to deliver real impact. You’ll join a small, high-calibre team of five developers, working closely with traders in a fast-paced, front-to-back environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support the trading, settlement, and clearing platform.
• Enhance the algorithmic trading product suite.
• Collaborate with traders and operations to streamline post-trade processes.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years’ experience in financial services or capital markets.
• C# development skills.
• SQL
• Understanding of trading workflows and financial products (options, futures, etc.).
• STEM degree from a top-tier university.
• Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn from experienced traders.
