An ECT Teacher of Economics is required for a permanent, full-time position at an Outstanding School in Enfield, starting January 2026. This key role is within a high-performing department known for strong examination results.

Responsibilities

  • The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting sophisticated economic analysis, model application, and critical debate on fiscal policy for GCSE.
  • They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
  • The ECT Teacher of Economics is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in departmental planning.

Requirements

  • Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has the right to work in the UK.
  • Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Economics.
