As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with class teachers in the Science department. From assisting in practical lab sessions to delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions, you’ll play a key role in helping students build subject knowledge, confidence, and resilience.
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant: Your Role
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Support Science teachers with lesson delivery across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group interventions to boost attainment
- Assist with practical experiments and ensure a safe, engaging lab environment
- Help prepare resources, track progress, and deliver targeted support
- Encourage a love of Science while helping pupils achieve their academic potential
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education is seeking a motivated Graduate Science Teaching Assistant who has:
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject (Russell Group/top-30 university preferred).
- A strong academic background, including excellent A-Level and GCSE results
