YOUR ROLE
Are you ready to take ownership of a fast paced airfreight import operation? At CEVA Logistics, we are looking for an Air Import Supervisor to oversee daily gateway activities and ensure smooth, compliant, high quality service delivery. This is a hands on operational leadership role where you will coordinate processes, support the team and maintain strong communication across our airline, handling and transport partners.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Gateway Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the import department, executing the departmental plan and clearly communicating priorities to the team. You will oversee all core import activities, including documentation checks and validation of shipment tasks while monitoring key performance indicators. In this busy and fast paced environment, you will maintain continuous communication with the airlines, handling agents, transport providers and warehouse teams to support efficient end to end movement. You will provide hands on supervision, coaching and support to team members to help drive performance and maintain high operational standards.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in air freight import operations, with a solid understanding of regulatory and customs requirements. You will demonstrate confident leadership skills, supporting and guiding team members while maintaining high operational standards. Strong system proficiency across platforms such as CargoWise would be advantageous, along with excellent communication skills for managing customers and internal stakeholders. We are looking for someone proactive, detail focused and solution driven, with the capability to manage tasks effectively. We welcome candidates with transferable logistics experience who are eager to broaden their import knowledge.
