Change Lead (Finance Transformation)- 2 year FTC

The Crown Estate
London

Advert Closes: Thursday 1st October

Are you a change leader with experience driving adoption across complex ERP and operating model transformation? Do you bring the expertise to engage stakeholders, shape behaviour, and embed new ways of working at scale?

This is an opportunity to lead the change agenda for a high-profile Finance Transformation programme, supporting the rollout of a new ERP system alongside a Target Operating Model redesign. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the transformation is not just delivered, but successfully adopted, bringing people, processes, and systems together to create lasting impact.

Why this role stands out

  • Lead end-to-end change for a complex, multi-workstream transformation programme

  • Operate at the centre of a strategically important initiative with exposure to senior stakeholders

  • Shape how communication, engagement, and training are delivered across the organisation

  • Influence how new ways of working are embedded across finance and beyond

What you’ll bring to The Crown Estate

  • Experience leading change management across ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle or similar)

  • Knowledge of Target Operating Model design and large-scale transformation programmes

  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing at all levels

  • Experience assessing change impacts across systems, processes, and roles

  • Track record of designing and delivering training and capability-building initiatives

  • Familiarity with recognised change frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR or similar)

  • Understanding of finance processes and how transformation affects day-to-day operations

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive change strategy aligned to programme objectives

  • Identify and manage change impacts, ensuring mitigation plans support smooth adoption

  • Design and deliver clear, engaging communications that bring the transformation to life

  • Create consistent messaging around programme vision, benefits, and progress

  • Lead the training approach, including role-based learning, e-learning, and user guidance

  • Partner with functional leads to ensure teams are equipped for new systems and processes

  • Act as a central point of contact for change activity, building strong stakeholder relationships

  • Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and engagement forums to drive understanding and buy-in

  • Track and report on readiness, adoption, and training metrics to support decision-making

How you’ll make an impact

You’ll ensure this transformation lands successfully, not only delivering change, but embedding it. By building engagement, strengthening capability, and creating clarity, you’ll enable teams to adopt new ways of working with confidence. Your impact will be reflected in high adoption, sharp readiness, and meaningful improvements to how finance operates.

How you’ll approach the role

  • Bring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery

  • Build trust and influence across a wide stakeholder group

  • Stay adaptable and focused within a fast-paced transformation environment

  • Collaborate closely with programme teams, finance leadership, and external partners

This is an opportunity to shape how change is delivered at scale, playing a key role in a transformation that will define the future of finance across The Crown Estate
