Art Technician - Wandsworth Location: Wandsworth Salary: £92.56 - £100 per day, depending on experience Contract: Full-time Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Full-Time Opportunity Are you an experienced Art Technician looking for a new full-time opportunity in Wandsworth? Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Technician to join a supportive secondary school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an applicant who enjoys working creatively and supporting students in developing their practical skills. You will play an important role in preparing materials and equipment, maintaining a safe and organised working environment, and supporting teaching and learning across the Art department. The Role Full-time position, working 8:00am - 5:00pm Prepare and organise materials and equipment for Art lessons Support teachers and students during practical Art activities Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised Art environment Monitor, maintain and organise Art equipment and resources Assist with displays, exhibitions and practical projects Follow appropriate health and safety procedures Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working as an Art Technician, Art Assistant or in a similar practical role Strong knowledge of Art materials, equipment and practical processes Organised, reliable and able to work independently Confident supporting students and staff in a school environment A creative and practical approach to problem-solving Previous experience within a secondary school would be advantageous Why Work in Wandsworth?
