What you will be doing As Treasury Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and governance of Treasury activities across the Group. You'll ensure Treasury transactions are accounted for accurately and in line with regulatory and statutory requirements while providing meaningful financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.
Working within a global environment, you'll support month-end close activities, manage Treasury reporting processes, strengthen internal controls and contribute to projects that improve Treasury systems, reporting and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing Treasury accounting and month-end reporting activities, including journals, reconciliations, foreign exchange, loans, interest and derivative reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing Treasury-related financial reports, management reports, budget submissions and statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and JSOX requirements while maintaining accurate accounting records across Treasury and Finance systems.
- Partnering with Treasury, Tax and Finance teams to provide accurate and timely financial information.
- Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring Treasury reporting remains audit-ready.
- Providing analysis and insight into Treasury activities, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Driving process improvements, standardisation and automation initiatives across Treasury reporting.
- Supporting Treasury and wider Finance transformation projects.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within Treasury accounting, Treasury operations, financial reporting or a related finance function.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, loan accounting, foreign exchange accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience working with complex financial instruments, derivatives or hedge accounting would be advantageous.
- An understanding of IFRS 7 and IFRS 9, or the willingness to deepen existing knowledge in these areas.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight reporting deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience operating within a SOX or JSOX controlled environment.
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent (preferred).
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
Experience with one or more of the following would be highly beneficial:
- Oracle ERP
- Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Power BI
