Nanny-Housekeeper

Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for a warm, organised, and energetic Housekeeper Nanny to support a busy, loving family of five. The role combines housekeeping with caring for three happy and active children aged 4, 9, and 11. Responsibilities include keeping the home clean and organised, managing laundry and errands, and helping ensure daily routines run smoothly. A confident driver is required for school runs and occasional errands.
The ideal candidate will be caring, proactive, and take pride in maintaining a welcoming home. They should enjoy spending time with children, preparing healthy meals, and supporting the family’s day-to-day routines. Someone who is reliable, positive, and ready to become a valued part of the family will thrive in this role.

Job Specifications:
• General household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and keeping shared areas neat, organised, and welcoming
• Regular kitchen and bathroom cleaning to maintain a tidy, hygienic environment
• Running errands such as grocery shopping, post office visits, and other household tasks as needed
• Wardrobe organisation and maintaining good order throughout the home
• Assisting with household routines, including setting the table and helping to prepare for Friday family dinners
• Driver required – responsible for school pick-ups and drop-offs as needed
• Preparing school uniforms, sports kits, and bags to ensure the children are ready for the next day
• Supporting homework, reading, and instrument practice in a calm, patient, and encouraging manner
• Cooking healthy, nutritious meals for the children, focusing on fresh ingredients and balanced nutrition
• Helping with bath and bedtime routines to create a smooth, positive evening for the children
• Occasional babysitting may be requested (optional and by agreement)

Candidate specification:
• Be organised, tidy, and take pride in maintaining a neat and orderly home.
• Have a genuine love for children, with a nurturing and caring personality.
• Ideally have experience caring for multiples and school-age children.
• Have strong housekeeping skills, going beyond typical nanny duties.
• Provide excellent references that reflect reliability, professionalism, and kindness.
• Be energetic and active, engaging the children in fun, creative, and educational activities.
• Be someone who wants to become part of the family, building a long-term, trusting relationship.
