Junior Field Technician
About the Role
As our Junior Field Technician based in London, you will report to the two Senior Field Technicians in the area and play a key role in supporting the maintenance and repair of coffee machines for our customers. The role is mainly field-based, though you will also help with occasional workshop tasks and contribute to equipment care, installations, and troubleshooting. You will receive full onboarding, followed by hands-on training and regular upskilling to help you develop and progress in the role.
You’ll be guided by our Workshop and Senior Field Technician's in London and supported by our wider Technical team – with a company van provided for work use.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in Installing, refurbish, service, and repair espresso machines and hot water systems.
- Assist in Installing and manage water filtration systems at customer sites.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance at customer locations.
- Manage stock movements using our service app and keep your van well-stocked and tidy.
- Liaise with the Workshop Coordinator and Technical Service Coordinator for scheduling and parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
- Communicate clearly with customers, setting expectations and representing Origin professionally.
- Support goods-in/goods-out processes when working from base.
- Use hand tools daily – lifting and manual work required.
- Follow SOPs and health & safety protocols at all times.
