Key Account Manager - Surgical Medical Device

* Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationships within the territory:
* Work along Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of the product and other technologies in the OR;
* Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders;
* Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs;
* Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained;
* Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained;
* Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics;
* Compliance with both local jurisdictions, regulatory, professional and ethical standards.
* An in depth understanding of the responsibilities involved in working with NHS and private sector.
* Conduct a regular territory analysis in order to develop an in depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape and trends in sales and market share;
* Complete monthly customer activity and sales reports including detail on the sales pipeline;
* Ensure time allocation and focus are aligned with the defined company sales strategy;
* Execute defined UK Key Account strategies at the local account level;
* Ensure all contact details and agreed activities are updated in CRM system in a timely manner ensuring these are GDPR compliant;
* Available to travel (min 50% to max 80%) and stay overnight if required;
* Provide tailored training sessions to customers dependent upon identified needs. What you will need
* Desired degree-level qualification in life sciences; * Experience selling into theatres and clinics; * Theatre / Surgery environment experience; * Working experience in NHS Trusts and super Trusts; * Knowledge of NHS and the private sector sales cycle is a must; * Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach; * Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships; * Team player, strong sense of urgency and accountability; * Experience in utilising Microsoft Office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce
