You will teach German across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, developing students' ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written German.

The role will involve teaching vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and sentence construction alongside cultural and contextual content. At GCSE, you will prepare students for the four key language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The successful teacher will be able to create lessons that encourage students to use German actively rather than simply complete written exercises. You will use conversation, listening tasks, role play, authentic resources and structured writing activities to develop confidence.

German Teacher - Experience and Qualifications

• German Degree

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification

• Effective classroom management

The salary for this German Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS, depending on experience and qualifications.
