About the Role:

Are you a calm, compassionate, and organised live-in carer looking for a stable placement?

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a female live-in carer to support a gentle, intelligent gentleman with a C4/5 spinal cord injury who lives with his wife in their peaceful home.

We previously supported this lovely family in 2021 — they are incredibly kind, respectful, and a pleasure to work with.

This is a short-term live-in placement lasting approximately 2–3 months , beginning as early as 19th December , depending on the client’s wife’s operation date.

📍 About the Role:

Location: SW4, Clapham – excellent transport links, close to local amenities.
Client personality: Quiet, thoughtful, appreciative; values routine and an orderly home.
Daily support: Personal care, continence support, showering, meal prep, household duties, and light support for his wife during her recovery.

Household:

• 🚭 Non-smoking

• 🐾 No pets

• 👩 Female applicants preferred due to personal care requirements

📆 Rota & Pay:

• Live-in position lasting approx. 2–3 months

• Start date: As early as 19th December

• Pay rate: £136.38 per day

• Food allowance: Provided and paid for by PHH

• Travel allowance: Competitive per placement

🫶 Live-In Care Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, showering, and personal care

• Support continence care, including one night-time pad change

• Prepare balanced meals to support weight gain

• Maintain a clean, tidy, well-organised home

• Provide gentle, minimal support for the client’s wife post-operation (approx. 30 mins/day)

• Encourage independence and follow a calm, structured routine

• Observe and record wellbeing and ensure safety

🚗 Driver: Not required

Training & Support:

Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care.
You’ll receive full paid training before starting, plus support to get familiar with the care routine.

No prior spinal care experience required — just warmth, reliability, and willingness to learn.
