Head of Retail & B2B

Mous Products Ltd
London

About Mous

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver.

For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world-class in-house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance-led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast-growing community around the brand.

From throwing phones off dams to launching category-defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Head of Retail & B2B to lead and scale one of our most important growth channels. This is a true commercial leadership role with direct influence over revenue, strategy, and long-term growth across retail and B2B partnerships.

You will own the Retail & B2B channel end-to-end, from commercial strategy and pricing through to execution, performance, and expansion. The role will focus on driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and creating a scalable function that supports the next stage of the business, while ensuring growth is incremental and does not cannibalise other channels.

Working in a fast-moving environment without layers of corporate complexity, you’ll have the autonomy to make decisions quickly, test new ideas, and directly shape the direction of the channel. As the function grows, you’ll also have the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing Retail & B2B team.

About You

This is not a traditional account management role. We’re looking for someone with grit, strong commercial instincts, and an ownership mentality, someone excited by the opportunity to build and lead a high-impact function within a fast-growing business.

You’ll ideally have experience within a retail, wholesale, or B2B product business, including leading teams or managing key commercial relationships. A strong track record of driving revenue and margin growth is essential, alongside confidence in pricing, forecasting, margins, and deal structuring.

You should be comfortable thinking strategically while remaining hands-on in execution, using data to guide decision-making and identify growth opportunities. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are key, along with the ambition to grow with the business over time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CFO to develop the retail/B2B strategy and set revenue and margin targets.

  • Execute the retail/B2B strategy, including pricing and growth plan.

  • Manage, mentor, and oversee the account management team, setting clear KPIs and ensuring consistent performance.

  • Own key account relationships and commercial negotiations making recommendations for pricing, deals, and partnership growth.

  • Monitor account performance, market and Mous online trends, identifying new opportunities and potential risks, and providing actionable insights for strategy adjustments.

✔️How will success be measured?

  • Deliver revenue and margin targets across retail/B2B channels.

  • Develop and lead the account management team, improving performance and capabilities.

  • Implementation of pricing frameworks and account strategies that align with company goals.

  • Identification and securing strategic growth opportunities with key accounts.

Skills requirements:

Hard skills:

  • 5+ years in retail, wholesale, or B2B product-based businesses

  • Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to revenue and margin growth

  • Strong commercial experience (pricing, margin management, deal structuring)

  • Experience managing or leading account managers or commercial teams

  • Comfortable using data, reporting, and KPIs to drive decisions

  • Experience handling key accounts and leading commercial negotiations

Soft skills:

  • Commercially sharp and outcome-focused (cares about revenue and margin, not just activity)

  • Strong ownership mindset and takes responsibility for results, not just execution

  • Confident communicator who is able to influence both internally and externally

  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out but also execute day to day

  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective people leader who is able to motivate, challenge, and develop a team

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in D2C brands or working alongside eCommerce teams

  • Exposure to international retail or distributor networks

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and building reporting frameworks

  • Experience scaling a team or function

  • Category experience (consumer goods / accessories / tech products)

Our Offer

We operate a hybrid working model, typically spending at least three days a week in our Hoxton office to maintain our collaborative and high-energy culture.

Benefits include:

  • Significant opportunity for growth, ownership, and career progression

  • Competitive salary reflective of experience and impact

  • 30% Friends & Family discount on all Mous products

  • 25 days’ holiday + 8 bank holidays

  • 1 month paid leave after 5 years’ service

  • Cycle to Work Scheme

  • Charlie HR perks and discounts

  • Regular socials, events, and on-site activities (including an on-site gym)

Our Values
G et Results – We take accountability, prioritise impact, and push standards higher. Work Together – We collaborate openly, challenge constructively, and learn from each other. Enjoy the Ride – We stay agile, embrace change, and enjoy building something special together.
