About Movera
Movera is the UK’s leading vertically integrated home moving provider, bringing together multiple brands that operate in different segments of the same connected market. Our businesses specialise in technology, channel partner and conveyancing solutions that together have touchpoints across 500,000+ property moves annually.
Across the UK more than 800 colleagues combine legal expertise with technology to improve home moving for our people, partners and clients. Everything we do is digital when it can be and personal when it needs to be. We are ambitious and grounded, striving to reimagine home moving as a market maker rather than a market leader.
Our people are typically hybrid, with teams based across Stockport, Leeds, Cardiff, Woking, and London. New locations and remote roles both play a role in further accelerating growth. We are proud of our inclusive and collaborative culture, seeking to reflect the communities we are part of. We believe that diverse perspectives make us stronger, drive innovation, and help us better serve our clients. We welcome people from all backgrounds and life experiences.
Movera is now entering an exciting next phase of growth and evolution of our market impact – seeking to further disrupt a sector that has a strong desire and need for change. We’re looking for a Chief Transformation Officer to lead how we plan and execute change across Movera in collaboration with our stakeholders. This role is not just to improve what we have, it’s to re-imagine what we could be. Our ambition is to be recognised as the player that led the change consumers expect. This role will make a significant contribution to us further accelerating our growth momentum with an expectation that we will be 3-5x by the end of 2028, having made new home moving experiences a reality in the UK.
The Role
This strategic role will lead Movera’s transformation strategy, roadmap and execution. The role holder will shape and deliver a programme of transformative change across all brands and businesses … impacting our performance in existing segments, partnerships, adjacent growth opportunities, and operational scalability.
This role is a blend of strategy, delivery and leadership — ideal for someone who can balance big-picture thinking with practical action. You will work closely with the Executive Team, senior leaders and external stakeholders to re-imagine how we operate — embedding simpler processes, smarter technology, a culture of continuous improvement, and realising transformative growth.
The ideal candidate must have experience successfully designing and delivering complex portfolios of change to achieve a transformational shift in business delivery, with a proven ability to drive significant benefits in fast growing, complex and ambitious organisations.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a leader and catalyst for innovation and change aligned with our strategy and ambition.
• Work with stakeholders to develop an agnostic, insight and data driven approach to incepting, defining and prioritising change.
• Lead Movera’s transformation roadmap, aligning initiatives to strategic goals and measurable outcomes.
• Bring external thinking and experience to help us conceive what change can have the biggest impact on us meeting and exceeding our ambitions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve systems and strengthen collaboration.
• Design and deliver programmes that enhance efficiency, customer experience and engagement.
• Partner with senior leaders to ensure transformation initiatives are owned, embedded and sustained.
• Establish change governance to include benefits tracking, progress reporting and clear communication.
• Foster an inclusive change culture where colleagues feel heard, supported and able to contribute ideas.
• Play a positive part in continuing the inspiring and energising relationships at all levels that help make.
Movera what it is today.
• Report to the Group CEO and broader Exec team on progress, risks, outcomes and next-stage priorities, plus to the Board where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
Our team is a blend of talent from inside and outside of the sector - you don’t need to come from the legal industry. What matters most is your ability to deliver change beyond expectations, and to inspire others.
Essential:
• Working in competitive markets where there is potential to change or challenge ways of doing business.
• Leading programmes that have improved and scaled customer experience across large customer bases and complex environments.
• Experience leading large-scale business or operational transformation through ambiguity and change.
• Knowledge of automation, AI or digital transformation technologies.
• Strong understanding of change management and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills — able to engage at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate plans into measurable results.
• Prior knowledge in facilitating design thinking, conducting analysis and producing recommendations.
• Commercially astute and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
• Experienced in shaping digital roadmaps, embedding product and CX leadership, plus creating a culture of experimentation and shared outcomes.
• Skilled at collaborating and aligning technology, data and product disciplines to drive measurable gains in customer and client satisfaction, engagement and conversion.
• Operated in regulated sectors that need associated governance and risk appetites to be navigated.
• Experience within professional services or financial services.
Personal Attributes
• Inclusive and collaborative — builds trust and respect across diverse teams.
• Pragmatic and outcome-focused — simplifies complexity and drives delivery.
• Curious and forward-thinking — challenges “how it’s always been done”.
• Empathetic communicator who listens and brings people along the journey.
• Resilient, adaptable and motivated by making a tangible difference.
What We Offer
• Opportunity to lead transformation across the UK’s leading vertically integrated home moving provider, bringing together multiple businesses and brands to deliver strategic growth and change in the market.
• A key player within an Executive team that together lead a winning culture that values authenticity, openness and collaboration.
• Hybrid working and flexibility to support work–life balance in a workplace where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and reach their potential.
• Competitive salary, benefits and long-term incentives.
Application Deadline: Friday 28th November
