Overview

At Gallagher, we help clients make informed decisions about their employee benefits programmes.

As an Analytics Consultant , you’ll lead the charge in turning data into actionable insights—helping clients understand how their people engage with benefits and how to optimise programme design for better outcomes.

This is a pivotal role within our Client Technology team, where you’ll own the analytics capability, maintain and evolve dashboards, and support consultants and clients in using data to drive decisions. You’ll also play a key role in championing analytics across the wider Employee Benefits business, supporting the rollout of tools like Power BI (Gallagher Drive).

How you'll make an impact

  • Analyse benefits utilisation and engagement data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Create insight packs and presentations that link findings to measurable outcomes
  • Support client demos, training sessions, and adoption of analytics tools
  • Collaborate with consulting teams to inform scheme design and workforce strategies
  • Engage clients with dashboards and iterate based on feedback
  • Manage back-end data processes to ensure dashboards remain accurate and live
  • Champion analytics across the business, contributing to enablement materials and training
  • Operate to AJG data handling standards and coordinate across matrixed teams

About You

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret behavioural and utilisation data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Sisense)
  • Commercial mindset with curiosity to connect insights to client objectives
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and managing multiple stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience with SQL or data querying
  • Background in benefits or workforce data analytics
  • Prior experience supporting capability rollout and enablement

Qualifications:

  • Evidence of continuous learning (e.g. Power BI/DAX coursework, data storytelling workshops)
