Tax Specilaist - Private Equity Backed Clients - UK Wide
A leading professional services firm with a strong UK and international presence is seeking an experienced and ambitious Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its expanding Private Equity Tax team. This position offers the chance to work with some of the UK's most dynamic private equity-backed businesses, guiding them through every stage of the investment lifecycle from acquisition to exit. The Opportunity
In this senior leadership role, you will:
* Advise a varied portfolio of private equity-backed clients on corporate tax matters across compliance and advisory projects.
* Lead and develop a talented team of tax specialists, ensuring high-quality client service and supporting their professional progression.
* Provide clear, commercially focused tax advice directly to clients, helping them navigate complex issues and transactions.
* Take a hands-on role in business development, contributing to proposals, pitches, and wider growth initiatives.
* Deliver creative and practical tax solutions, including structuring and exit-readiness advice.
* Work closely with senior leaders to shape the strategic direction of the Private Equity Tax team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A recognised professional qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax, ideally with exposure to private equity or transaction-related work.
* A strong background in managing client relationships within a professional services environment.
* Experience leading teams and reviewing technical tax work.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to contribute to business development activities.
