About the Role
A great opportunity to join Group Reporting at the heart of the finance team. Beyond core accounting, the role will provide commercial oversight of key finance processes and partner with teams across the organisation, not just finance. The role will also support internal and external reporting requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with the month-end close timetable to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support the Group’s reporting requirements by preparing both accrual and cash-basis reports, contributing to compliance with internal deadlines.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Manage and prepare sections of the financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy for auditor review.
- Support the consolidation of the Group and associated P&L/BS analysis.
- Advise the finance team on technical accounting matters, and collaborate on technical accounting manuals.
- Coordinate and refine responses to external advisors by gathering input from relevant teams.
- Support the Group Reporting team with any activities as required.
Qualifications and experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA).
- Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS, GAAP).
- Experience of group environments (consolidations, multi-currency, intercompany).
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders across finance, legal and tax.
- Self-motivator, problem solver, provide recommendations and solutions to challenges.
At Yondr, we want to enhance the diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging of our workforce to reflect the world we live in. Our roles are potential opportunities for everyone; all interested parties, regardless of nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender, are welcome to apply. We ensure all candidates have equitable access and consideration throughout the hiring process.
Yondr is committed to fostering a welcoming, safe and inclusive work environment. We provide support through our benefits, which are inclusive of all backgrounds.
