Hybrid Personal Assistant
Private Personal Assistant – London (Hybrid/House-Sitting)
Salary : £40,000–£55,000 DOE
Hours : Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm (flexibility + house/cat sitting required)
Start Date : 2 January
Our client is seeking a confident, highly discreet Private Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and lifestyle support to a high-profile author and podcaster. This role requires exceptional organisation, strong diary management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and public-facing environment.
You will support a principal with a significant media presence, working across personal, household, podcast, and corporate commitments. This is a fun, social environment with opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience in publishing, podcasting, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative and correspondence support
- Manage complex calendars across personal, podcast, book, management, and corporate schedules
- Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics for podcast guest bookings; attend recordings and take notes
- Oversee email management, prioritising and drafting responses as needed
- Arrange domestic travel; manage itineraries, car bookings, and appointments (medical, PT, veterinary, etc)
- House and cat-sit when the principal is away (up to 12 weeks per year, including overnights)
- Manage household bills, basic bookkeeping, expenses, and filing systems
- Oversee household maintenance across multiple properties; liaise with tradespeople and vendors
- Handle deliveries, post, returns, gift purchasing, groceries, and general errands
- Support event and social planning including shoots, book launches, venue bookings, catering, and guest lists
- Liaise with publicists, PR teams, social media freelancers, web designers, and other suppliers
- Coordinate fashion loans/returns and maintain brand relationships
- Assist with social content days (filming and photography)
- Maintain systems, tracking tools, and diary reminders, file contracts, and invoices
- Act as the central communication point across multiple agenting and management teams, protecting the principal’s time
- Provide ad-hoc support as needed across personal, household, and professional duties
Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar PA role
- Experience supporting talent, creatives, or individuals with public profiles preferred
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent email manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general IT literacy
- Knowledge of London helpful; industry contacts a plus
- Working knowledge of social media desirable
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and healthy professional boundaries
