Overview

Join our International Benefits team as an International Benefits Associate Consultant where you’ll play a key role in supporting and managing a range of Global Employee Benefits Clients.

This includes areas such as international medical, life, disability, pensions, and other expatriate benefits. You’ll work with both existing client portfolios and contribute to new business opportunities.

In this role, you’ll build strong client relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional service. You’ll also conduct research, provide recommendations, and support the delivery of strategic benefit plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to evaluate data and develop effective solutions.

How you'll make an impact

Key International Benefits Analyst duties include the following:

  • Performing benefits inventory, data collection, analytical work, and market practice comparisons in addition to drafting client reports and presentations.
  • Develop reports for client's global benefit programs including renewal reports, benefit summaries, and claims analysis.
  • Working in conjunction with client service/sales team in designing and implementing benefit plans, design benefits packages, and or modify existing programs for current clients and also potential new clients, to ensure compliance with local requirements and alignment with clients desired market position.
  • Provides ongoing support with client project management including but not limited to; conference calls, webinars and email correspondence with corporate, regional and local HR and/or finance teams, brokers, carriers, payroll providers and other applicable vendor partners.
  • Responds to a wide variety of specific International HR-related questions for internal team members or external clients through data research, international resources, and contacts.
  • Collaborates with other team members to recommend solutions/provide technical reports on various client issues.
  • Manages multiple projects and clients with oversight as needed to ensure the quality and timeliness of client deliverables.
  • Creation of technical report’s, RFPs, proposals, renewal reports
  • Review and/or creation of international assignment policies and employee handbooks
  • Offers input and ideas for improving the effectiveness of products and procedures
  • Keeps abreast of all relevant laws, emerging regulations and trends.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.
  • Supports the consulting team with internal/ administrative tasks required in the management of the client (Client Relationship Management (CRM) System updates.
  • Where needed support the other teams in MBHRC (global mobility advisory and global workforce strategy and consulting teams)

Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.

About You

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience in an analytical role and/or international benefits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Handles confidential information with discretion.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Global Employee Benefits or the insurance industry.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of global regions (e.g., EMEA, Asia/Pacific, Latin America).
  • Exposure to finance, tax, or legal concepts.
  • Fluency in foreign languages and client account management experience.
