The Audit Manager Role

You'll manage your own portfolio, lead audit assignments, and mentor a growing team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing audits from planning through to completion
• Reviewing accounts and tax computations (approx. 70% audit / 30% accounts)
• Leading, coaching, and developing junior staff
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients
• Supporting business development and contributing to proposals
• Getting involved in firm-wide projects such as recruitment and marketing

About You

We're looking for an Audit Manager who combines technical excellence with leadership skills:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of audit clients
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 (IFRS experience an advantage)
• Confident people manager and mentor
• Commercially aware and proactive with clients
• Experienced with CaseWare or similar audit software
