Position 1: IFB Officer

Qualifications: BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance and Economics/Marketing Management or any other related fields,

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in the banking industry of which 1 year as an officer position. (Preferably in the IFB area).

Essential Functionality:

  • Support, follow–up, and facilitate the IFB business activities at branches/regions to increase the resource mobilization efforts;
  • Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of IFB window operation across branches & take remedial action for any gaps observed;
  • Identify problems related to the service delivery pattern of the overall IFB window operations across the Bank, and take remedial actions for improvement;
  • Monitor the cash balance of each Interest-Free Wing at branches and follow up overall liquidity of the business line;
  • Handle other related activities as deemed necessary,
  • Mentor and enable staff below his /her grades towards achieving their effective performance;

Place of Work: Northern Regional Office (Based at Bahir Dar), Head Office, Gondar District, Dessie District, Bahir Dar District, Adama District, Addis Ababa Districts, Addis Ababa Regional Office

Position 2: Procurement Officer

Qualifications: BA in Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any other related fields,

Experience: 3/Three years of relevant experience preferably in the banking industry of which 1 year as a procurement Officer

Essential Functionality:

  • Participate and assist in procurement planning and budgeting;
  • Assists work units as needed in creating clear and understandable purchase requests and other procurement documentation;
  • Review and compile purchase requests with substantiated documents;
  • Participate in reviewing specifications and prepare bid documents and invite suppliers;
  • Compile a summary of suppliers’ bid proposals;
  • Prepare and process contract and purchase orders in accordance with specifications;
  • Carry out direct purchases when approved;
  • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services;
  • Communicate claims to suppliers and follow up for settlement of defective items and shortages;

Position 3: Credit Administration Officer

Qualifications: BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance and Economics/Marketing Management or any other related fields,

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in the banking industry of which 1 year as an Officer position in the credit area.

Essential Functionality:

  • Control the movement of borrowers’ files in the process of file exchange so as to avoid missing files.
  • Maintain sequential filing of file contents, pruning the file for ease of usage and to avoid missing documents from the file.
  • Input the credit information in the Credit Reference Bureau database;
  • Handle other duties as assigned by his or her supervisor,
  • Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete information;
  •  Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct at workplaces and time to abide by the bank’s organizational culture;
  • Embody the bank’s good culture & corporate image to the public.

Position 4: Senior IFB Officer

Qualifications: BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance and Economics/Marketing Management or any other related fields,

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry of which 2 years as an officer position, (preferably in the IFB area).

Essential Functionality:

  • Support, follow–up, and facilitate the IFB business activities at branches/regions to increase the resource mobilization efforts;
  • Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of IFB window operation across branches & take remedial action for any gaps observed;
  • Identify problems related to customer service delivery pattern of the overall IFB window operations across the Bank, and take remedial actions for improvement;
  • Take up the roles of the Division Manager in his/her absence;
  • Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division;
  • Mentor and enable staff below his /their grades towards achieving effective performance;

Position 5: Senior Business Project Officer

Qualification: BA in project management, business administration, or related fields.

Experience: 5/Five years of relevant experience preferably in the banking industry.

Essential Functionality:

  • Coordinate project quality assurance activities;
  • Coordinate and ensure all project planning activities are handled properly and required documents are developed and delivered;
  • follow-up and manage project execution, testing, and closing activities handled properly.
  • follow-up and measure the performance of project officers.
  • Work with procurement to follow up the procurement process and to communicate any procurement challenge;
  • Compile project status reports from project ad hoc teams and report to business/technical project managers.

Position 6: Senior Technical Project Officer

Qualification: BSc in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer & Software Engineering or Information Technology.

Experience: 5/Five years of relevant Experience preferably in the banking industry.

Essential Functionality:

  • Establish a project ad hoc team for each project;
  • Establish a project working environment for project ad hock teams;
  • Manage projects meeting and communications;
  • Managing meetings and communications including taking a minute;
  • Manage project documents at a central repository;
  • Develop project management processes, dashboards, templates, and metrics.
  • Implement new project management tools and/or systems that increase the project office’s effectiveness.

Position 7: Senior Project Business Analyst

Qualifications: BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, and related fields.

Experience 5/Five years of relevant experience in the banking operation

Essential Functionality:

  • Working with stakeholders to identify business needs and solutions;
  • Working to establish business analysis ad hoc teams for a specific business need;
  • Working with business analysis ad hoc teams to analyze business needs;
  • Prepare business case documents by including dedicated analysis such as SWOT, cost efficiency, risk assessment, cost efficiency, and other analysis;
  • Define the project objective, scope, and deliverables;
  • Define requirements and prepare bid documents (RFP) and project charter;
  • Asses different approaches for the required solutions and submit a proposal;
  • Identify all required changes with all stakeholders for the required solutions;

Position 8: Senior Customer Experience Officer

Qualifications: BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing Management, and related fields.

Experience: 5/Five years of relevant experience in the banking operation.

Essential Functionality:

  • Actively part in the development and implementation of a service quality improvement strategy for branches;
  • Develop a continuous stream of data to analyze, measure, and evaluate customer behaviors and sentiments;
  • Undertake a holistic, dynamic assessment of who the bank’s customers are and what motivates their behavior, and   follow -up their treatments as more than just buyers;
  • Identify customer needs and take proactive steps to maintain positive experiences;
  • Analyze customer feedback on product ranges and new releases, as well as prepare reports;

Position 9: Security Coordinator

Qualifications BA degree in police or military science OR Diploma (Level-III OR 10+3 in police or military science) OR
– LLB and diploma (at least Level-III OR 10+3 in police or military science)

Experience: Five/Seven 5/7 years of service as Security Coordinator or relevant positions (Military Experience is Mandatory)

N.B. Military experience should be the chief inspector and above.

Essential Functionality:

  • Planning, organizing, and directing the security and sanitary systems of the Bank;
  • Preparing security and sanitation-related policies and procedures as deemed necessary;
  • Ensuring the security and sanitation of the Bank’s premises and holdings

Position 10: Manager, Customer Relationship (IFB)

Qualifications: BA in Business Management/ Accounting/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Finance and Economics/Marketing Management or any other related fields,

Experience: 7 years of relevant Banking experience, of which two (2) years in a senior position

Essential Functionality:

  • Build and maintain profitable customer relationships through fostering credit marketing, ensuring loan quality; properly attending to customer complaints at the district level;
  • Keep customers updated on the latest products and services in order to increase revenue from various businesses found within the district reach;
  •  Attract potential borrowers with the aim of establishing long-lasting customer relationships, increasing and diversifying the customer base;
  • Build a trusting relationship with customers by maintaining a positive image and cross-selling the bank’s credit services;
  •  Attract and properly treat customers with guarantee requests;
  • Take up the roles of the Manager in his/her absence;
  • Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division;

Position 11: Manager, Card Production & Distribution

Qualifications: BSC in Economics, Strategic Management, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering, Information System, Information Science, MIS, or any other related fields.

Experience: Seven/Nine 7/9 years of relevant Banking experience of which Two/2 years a senior officer position.

Essential Functionality:

  • Manage new card product development and card issuance system along with other concerned organs and the vendor of card issuance system;
  • Ensure availability of sufficient card ready for issuance and proactively issue procurement order if it gets minimum balance;
  • Ensure regular card issuance system maintenance, configuration, backup, performance monitoring, and upgrading activities;
  • Coordinate and monitor check and balance of the physical card and PIN delivery to respective Branches;
  • Oversee the works of loading data onto the chip, personalizing details on the card, and printing the PIN (Card and PIN to be handled by separate Officers);
  • Develop, review, and implement policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division;
  • Embody the bank’s good culture, and corporate image to the public;
  •  Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct, ascertain that subordinates abide by same, and manage disciplinary concerns;

Position 12: Branch Manager Grade – I

Qualifications: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, and any other related fields.

Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager.

Essential Functionality:

  • Lead in the development and revision of the branch office’s functional strategy aligned with the business-level strategy of the Bank;
  • Plan and lead the resource mobilization activity of the Branch by organizing and coordinating the branch workforce in an effective manner.
  • Support regular checks on service delivery at the branch through methods such as customer surveys at the branch to determine customers ‘perception & experience of the Bank’s service;
  • Ensure an attractive banking service is delivered and maintained;
  • Plan and lead the resource Mobilization activity of the Branch by organizing and coordinating the branch workforce in an effective manner,
  • Aggressively engages in marketing and promotional activities,
